So, I just got back from seeing Big Hero 6 and...........(Please do not read this journal if you want any of Big Hero 6 spoiled for you)

Disney..........you complemented all of animation again. There is literally too many good things I can talk about in this movie. Let's get the obvious out of the way. The animation is spectacular. Everything was so colorful and smooth and all the scenary of the film's setting, San Fransokyo, is an eyefeast, which really shows in the flying scene, which is unbelievable. Speaking of gorgeous animation, something was carried over from Frozen. The fact that the atmosphere adds to the gorgeous animation of this film. This movie's atmosphere is HUGE and it really added to how much I wanted to continue watching in the film. Also, since this is a superhero movie, there has to be some action scenes. And there are. And they are LOADS of fun to watch. Every action scene is so fast paced and stylized that it's just so much fun. And the animation really added to how fun they were to watch. But they didn't pander action scenes all over the place. They needed scenes to just slow down and establish character development and planning. And they do that, these heroes don't just go and defeat the villain. They just discussed ideas with each other, they tested to see if they were ready, they used their own ideas to set them up. And that keeps the pacing where it should be. Speaking of which, every character in this movie has a degree of likability to them. The heroes are all lovable and hilarious. The villain is bada** and depressing (The Villains Identity is on I won't spoil, though you can get a good idea of who it is before seeing him without his mask). Even the side characters get laughs a lot of the time and actually help put the plot where it should be. I'd say the only problem I have with the film is that there are some plotholes, most of them I can push aside, but two in particular really bother me. 1. When Hiro, the main protagonist, shows off his micro-bot invention to a science college, why did he leave them there after the meeting was over? Shouldn't he have taken them and the control band with him? 2. What exactly caused the college building to catch fire? They addressed that the villain used it to escape and have everyone presume him dead, but how exactly did it start? Was a match involved? Did a system let off sparks? The movie never explains it. But other than being bothered by those two plotholes, if you are a superhero fan, Disney fan, or both, SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!

Positives: Beautiful animation and atmosphere, Lovable heroes, Hilarious Humor, Excellent Villain, Amazing Soundtrack (and for this movie not being a musical, this is saying a lot. Reminded me a lot of Thor's soundtrack BTW), Fun Action, Well-told story, Great side-characters, Heart-warming ending

Negatives: Some plotholes

Overall Score: 9.8/10. This is a near flawless film!!!!!
